A New Year a New You?

11th January 2018

Another year is coming to an end. I always advise my patients that the new year is a fantastic opportunity to achieve your goals. Planning is the first and most important step. What is it that we want to achieve? Make sure it is achievable. A problem we all have is raising the bar too high and the risk of falling short and disappointment. I would always suggest small steps and seeing progress as an initial goal. Losing weight or fat is a journey that will have ups and downs and we must be prepared to work at it.

Losing that first inch is easy, maintaining that consistent weight loss is difficult. We are designed to hold onto fat and your body will adapt to try to maintain its weight. This is the battle we all find difficult. That’s why it is important to embark on a weight loss strategy you can maintain and have as part of a normal routine. Making subtle changes are the key when you have already sacrificed so much. I always say to patients that the most successful weight loss strategies are ones that encompass a normal routine. I can’t go to the gym 5 times a week and I don’t expect you to do it either.

The beautiful thing about Verju-assisted weight loss, is the painless green laser has the same effect on every single person. It creates those pores and opportunity to lose that fat. However, what differentiates the success people have this treatment is how our bodies deal with the fat. This is what excites me! People who are committed to improving their lymphatic drainage by better diets and exercise, will get the best results. There are no gimmicks. Work hard, you will reap the rewards. You will start your journey to improving that body. Losing weight, does make you feel great! Start your new year with a plan you can achieve and you will want to keep going!
